My passion is financial education and I want there to be MORE and BETTER informed business owners out there.  You will legitimately learn how to manage and understand the financial information you are seeing in your Quickbooks reports when you take my courses or work with me.  I want you to succeed because when you succeed, so do I, so does our industry, and so does every single person who you are able to help with your small business.  My mission is to give you access to the knowledge and tools you need in bookkeeping so that you are empowered to have your small business THRIVE.

ALWAYS… but what “hire” means is usually different for different people and what stage they are at in their business. 

It really depends on your budget and your time.  So my question is, where are you at in your business?

  • I’ll be honest, if you are starting out with low or no annual revenue than it might not make sense to hire ongoing monthly bookkeeping services yet.  HOWEVER, it does make sense to hire a bookkeeper to help you get your books and accounting software set up CORRECTLY right from the start.   I’d suggest checking out my Quickbooks Set Up courses to get you started off on the right foot, have help getting your books caught up, and learn how to manage your business finances the right way yourself for a while until your top line revenue has grown.
  • I usually recommend monthly bookkeeping services for businesses that either 1) have established top line annual revenue, 2) can be flexible with budget, or 3) who simply don’t have the time to spend on doing bookkeeping themselves.  So if you’ve been in business a while, you already have bookkeeping software like Quickbooks set up but maybe your books are a complete mess, or you don’t have time to categorize transactions and do the bookkeeping yourself.  THEN, it definitely does make sense to hire a professional bookkeeper to help you clean up your existing bookkeeping and take over the ongoing monthly bookkeeping for you.  

My courses and services are mostly geared towards one-person solopreneur based businesses because that is what my businesses are and what I have the most experience with.  So if you are a one-stop shop for your business (or even if you have a few contractors but for the most part are a very small team and you’re running the show), then we’d be the perfect fit!
