Owner, Rohrer Publishing · Author (Jessica Rohrer) · Investor

I'm a Nashville mom, a writer, a numbers nerd, and someone who genuinely believes that when you understand your money, your whole life gets better. Pull up a chair — let me tell you a little about how I got here.

The way you manage your money is the way you manage your life.

That's the belief that drives everything I do — the templates I build, the courses I teach, the books I write, and the properties I invest in. Money isn't the goal. It's the tool that buys you freedom — time freedom, location freedom, the freedom to build a life that actually looks like yours. I've spent over a decade in finance and bookkeeping, and this is the one thing I want every person I work with to walk away knowing - money is just a tool that can buy you freedom.

If you're a mom, an entrepreneur, a dreamer who also has to manage her home and finances — someone who wants to build real wealth without losing herself in the process — you're exactly who I create for.

The real life

Wife, mom, author,
business owner, and real estate investor
—somehow all at once.

I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my husband Wes, our son Graham, and our black lab Chaco. Life here is full — music, water, morning walks along the Cumberland River greenway, and a whole lot of hot cocoa (yes, hot cocoa, not coffee — I know).

Wes and I got married in Cancun, which tells you everything you need to know about us: we love the beach, we love the water, we love new places and we love new experiences.

Graham came into our world and rearranged everything in the best possible way. Being his mom is the best thing I've ever done, and it's honestly part of why this work matters so much to me.

"I want to build something that gives us time freedom while Graham's little."
The work

Over a decade of finance,
now channeled into something bigger.

My background is in corporate finance and lending — I spent years in that world and learned how money actually moves, how businesses stay profitable, and how most people are leaving serious money on the table simply because nobody taught them the systems.

That background became the foundation for everything I now create. Courses, templates, books, and digital tools — all designed to help you become the CFO and COO of your own life. Not in an intimidating, spreadsheet-staring way. In a "you actually get this now and it feels good" way.

Wes and I also manage a short-term rental in the Nashville area through our co-hosting business and own a beach house short-term rental in 30A on Florida's emerald coast. We're actively working toward owning three STR properties of our own. So I'm not just teaching this stuff — I'm living it.

What I do

Three worlds,
one life.

01

Finance & Education

Templates · Courses · Tools

I create digital products and courses that help entrepreneurs, homeowners, and families get their financial house in order — from QuickBooks setup to emergency binders to health trackers. Practical, done-for-you, and actually useful.

02

Real Estate

STR Investing · Co-Hosting

I manage short-term rentals through our real estate businessses and am actively building toward owning three STR properties. Real estate is where the the rubber meets the road in finance — and where your financial systems either make you or break you.

Fiction · Finance · Family

I write books under my maiden name, Jessica Rohrer, published through Rohrer Publishing. From personal finance to family life to fiction — writing is how I make sense of the world and share what I know with the people I care about.

The story behind the name

How living in Brussels
changed everything.

I grew up in Northern Virginia, just outside Washington D.C., and I was — no exaggeration — one of the pickiest eaters on the planet. We're talking peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, grilled cheese, and french fries. That was basically my entire diet.

Then I moved to Brussels, Belgium. And something shifted. Surrounded by incredible food, incredible culture, and the kind of adventure that forces you to grow up a little — I conquered my picky eating. I traveled all over Europe. I tried things I never would have touched at home. And somewhere along the way I realized: if I could change something that felt that deeply ingrained in me, I could do anything I set my mind to.

That mindset has carried me through starting a business, writing books, investing in real estate, and becoming a mom. It's why my company is called Picky Eater Adventures — because the biggest adventures start when you stop saying no to the things that scare you.

And honestly? I think you have that same capacity in you. Whatever feels too hard, too confusing, or too far away right now — that's exactly where the good stuff is.

"If I could change something that felt that deeply ingrained in me, I could do anything I set my mind to."

A little more about me

Behind the scenes
with Jessica.

You'll always find me...

Starting my mornings with journaling and personal development reading in my comfy chair with a super soft blanket — then a morning walk with Wes, Graham, and Chaco along the Cumberland River greenway.

My go-to drink

Hot cocoa, always. Not coffee — hot cocoa. Don't @ me. Wine and cheese for evenings, obviously. I lived in Belgium. There are standards.

People are always surprised to know...

That I used to only eat peanut butter sandwiches, grilled cheese, and french fries. Now I've eaten my way across Europe. Character growth is real.

What I'm reading

I'm an avid reader — Tolkien, Dune, Harry Potter, Locke Lamora, Percy Jackson. Fantasy and sci-fi are my happy place, which is also why I ended up writing fiction.

One thing I value above everything

Freedom. Time freedom, financial freedom, location freedom. It's why I do the work I do — so I can have it, and so I can help other people build it too.

Something you might not expect

I play with the Nashville Community Concert Band. Music has always been part of my life — it's one of the reasons Nashville felt like home the moment I arrived.

Let's stay in touch

I'm most active on Instagram and I actually reply to messages. Come hang out, ask questions, or just say hi — I'd genuinely love to hear from you.

Wherever you are in your journey, I'm genuinely glad you're here.
