Here's How It Works
My proven process will get your business finances on track as soon as possible and you will know what to expect every step of the way.
The process starts when you book a call. Simply fill out the form and pick the day and time that works best for your schedule. I’ll ask you some questions about your business, determine if we are a good fit, and if so go over pricing, questions, and next steps.
I’ll send over a follow up email with the information and pricing we discussed. When you’re ready to move forward I’ll send over a more formal engagement letter and the credit card authorization form to officially kick things off.
Once I receive the signed engagement letter and credit card authorization back we will begin the onboarding process.
You’ll receive an email from me with my onboarding presentation, onboarding checklist, and available times for us to schedule out onboarding call.
During the onboarding call we will go over the onboarding checklist and make sure I have all the info I need to get started working on your books.
If we determined you also need set up, catch up or clean up services I’ll begin working on those first.
Set up services cover creating and setting up a new Quickbooks Online account for your business and usually take approximately 1-2 weeks.
Catch up services cover catching up your books for any previous months you’ve been in business in a new Quickbooks Online account and usually take approximately 2-8 weeks.
Clean up services cover cleaning up your books in an existing Quickbooks account for any previous months that you’ve been in business that are currently a mess and usually take approximately 2-8 weeks.
Once any set up, catch up or clean up is completed we will begin with monthly bookkeeping services.
Every month I’ll go through your books and categorize your transactions, reconcile your bank accounts, and ensure everything is correct.
If I have any questions in order to complete your books, I’ll reach out to you prior to sending over the statements. Once you’ve responded to any open questions I’ll send over your month end financial statements as well as a Loom video with a financial review of your statements.
Every quarter I send out an optional Quarterly Strategy Call for us to touch base on your business, financial goals, and discuss any open items.

It really depends on your budget and your time. I usually recommend monthly bookkeeping services for businesses that either have established top line annual revenue and can be flexible with budget or who simply don’t have the time to spend on the bookkeeping. If you are just starting out with low or no annual revenue you might not be ready for a monthly bookkeeper and I’d suggest checking out my Quickbooks Set Up course to get you started on the right foot instead.
I mostly work with one-person solopreneur based businesses because that is what my businesses are and what I have the most experience with. You may even have a few employees or contractors but for the most part it’s a very small team and you’re running the show. No, my services do not include year-end tax filing, that is where a tax preparer comes into play. My focus is on monthly bookkeeping services and financial management. However, your tax preparer will love us because a lot of the tax savings will come from our monthly management of keeping your books nice and tidy and ensuring you are including the appropriate business expenses for tax deductions at year end.
It really depends. There are several different factors I take into account when calculating the monthly bookkeeping pricing for my clients. Because each of my clients bookkeeping and financial situations are slightly different the price varies from client to client. Usually you can expect my monthly bookkeeping services to fall somewhere in the range of $300 – $2,000 a month.
Yes, I do offer set up, clean up and catch up services for clients who sign up for ongoing monthly bookkeeping services.
